Program Timetable for the 2013 Pediatric Subspecialty Match
First iteration

Online request for registration opens for applicants

Online request for registration opens for any eligible applicants who are currently in their R-2 or R-3 year in Pediatrics at a Canadian University or in an RCPSC-accredited US Pediatrics program. Applicants are eligible to apply to positions based on the eligibility criteria established by each university/province.

Program descriptions revisions to be completed by this date

Applicants begin online process

Applicant Webstation (AWS) opens for Pediatric Subspecialty Match applicants.

March 13, 2012 (12:00 ET) to March 19, 2012 (15:00 ET)
Program Webstation (PWS) setup

Login and passwords will be sent via e-mail to all program administrators to access PWS.

March 20, 2012 (12:00 ET)
File review begins

PWS opens for file review. Program director access is distributed by CaRMS.

March 27-May 13, 2012
Interview period

Programs are able to schedule interviews with applicants anytime between March 27, 2012 and May 13, 2012.

April 24, 2012 (12:00 ET)
Ranking period begins

The ranking period begins for applicants and programs. Rank order lists can only be submitted by the program's designated administrator.

May 15, 2012 (14:00 ET)
Program rank order list deadline

Programs must submit their rank order lists.

May 15, 2012 (15:00 ET)
Match Leader review begins

Match Leaders begin to review programs' rank order lists and quota.

The deadline for Match Leaders to review programs' rank order lists and quota.

Postgraduate office approval period begins

Postgraduate offices begin to review programs' rank order lists and quota.

Postgraduate office rank order list approval deadline

The deadline for postgraduate offices to approve all rank order lists.

All rank order lists must be entered and submitted.
