Program Information - Introduction for Program Descriptions
The CaRMS Program Information is an up-to-date listing of postgraduate programs available at participating Canadian medical schools. It is revised frequently as programs are updated, requirements change and other new information is sent to CaRMS by the various medical schools across Canada.
Responsibility for the accuracy of the program descriptions lies with the institutions providing the information, and CaRMS does not assume any responsibility or liability arising from error in or omission from the on-line directory, or from the use of any information contained in the on-line directory.
Each program that uses the match has its own set of requirements for the selection of residents. The individual program descriptions outline what each program looks for when choosing its candidates.

| Approximate quota: | The postgraduate deans have provided an approximate number of positions to CaRMS, but this is a preliminary estimate of available positions for the match. All quotas are subject to change until the Rank Order List Deadline. |
| Supporting Documents: | All documents that a program may request in order to complete their application requirements are referenced here. Extras could include, for example, a photograph, an undergraduate transcript or an ophthalmologist's report. |
