Highly respected and very successful program that is flexible within the confines of the RCPSC requirements. Relatively large and diverse faculty over multiple sites allow for an excellent experience in many different models of Geriatric care provision. Excellent research track record if resident interested. No mandatory on call for the last time ever in your career.
Program Curriculum
First year consists of core Geriatric Medicine clinical rotations in a variety of sites. Second year has one core rotation, Geriatric Psychiatry and various selectives and electives. Rotations depend on residents’ learning objectives and needs. Ongoing longitudinal clinic experience where resident follows his or her own patients for the entire two years.
