Dr. Eric Peters is a pediatric and obstetrical anesthesiologist at Sainte-Justine Hospital in Montreal.

Prior to completing his medical degree and anesthesia residency at the University of Montreal, Dr. Peters completed a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.

Among his numerous academic leadership roles, Dr. Peters has served as president and vice-president of the Fédération médicale étudiante du Québec (FMEQ), administrator responsible for specialty academic affairs for the Fédération des médecins résidents du Québec (FMRQ), president of the Association des étudiantes et étudiants en médecine de l’Université de Montréal, and as vice-president responsible for specialty academic affairs for the Association des médecins résidents de Montréal (AMRM).

Dr. Peters has represented the learner perspective on a number of university, provincial and federal committees and been actively involved on multiple projects regarding learner well-being, transitions in the medical education continuum and learner privacy rights.
