Check out R-1 match trends
Multi-year data shows the full picture
In September, CaRMS announced an exciting new data offering on our website – R-1 Main Residency Match trend data. These 17 new trend charts build on the information presented in our annual match reports, pulling together several years of comparative data to help you see the big picture when it comes to R-1 match statistics, discipline choices, as well as supply and demand in various disciplines.
Our goal with this new multi-year data is to give applicants, faculty and the medical education community at large the concrete information they need to make decisions about career paths, training and health human resources. Each trend chart is available in both PDF and Excel formats.
The release of R-1 match trend data is part of our continuing commitment to partnering with the medical education community to facilitate informed decision making, innovation and excellence in Canadian health care. We’d love to hear what you think about it.
