Instructions for document submission
The CaRMS Online application platform allows applicants to upload all required documents directly into their online application, eliminating the need to send hardcopy documents to CaRMS. There is a file size limit of 2 MB for photos and 5 MB for all other uploaded documents. If your photo or document is larger than the file size limit, you must save it in a reduced file size. Photos must be in JPEG format. All other documents must be PDFs. Documents uploaded by the applicant do not require a coversheet when sent to CaRMS. CaRMS does not accept hardcopy documents from applicants.
CaRMS receives hardcopy documents from medical schools, testing centres and referees on behalf of applicants. All eligible hardcopy documents should be sent to CaRMS’ Document Centre at:

For verification purposes, we recommend you send all hardcopy documents to the CaRMS Document Centre using traceable mail (i.e., with a tracking number) in order to track delivery and ensure that documents arrive on time.
Note: CaRMS does not accept faxed or emailed documents, or hardcopy documents submitted by applicants.
