Changes to eligibility requirements for the MCCQE Part II
The Medical Council of Canada recently announced changes to the eligibility requirements of the Medical Council of Canada Qualifying Examination (MCCQE) Part II.
These changes allow candidates expected to complete their PGY-1 by June 30 to take the exam in May of their first year of residency. Previously, candidates needed to complete 12 months of residency before taking the exam. Please note that a limited number of spots will be available for PGY-1 candidates in spring 2016, with the number of available spots increasing for future sessions.
