Match reports: providing the medical community with important information
CaRMS match reports provide the medical community with information that can support and inform important decisions about medical education and health care in Canada.
Every year, we publish detailed reports on each of our matches on our website, CaRMS.ca. Our R-1 Main Residency Match reports, for example, date back to 1972 and are an excellent source of information on match trends and results. The data found in these reports enables the identification of trends and facilitates the sharing of data throughout the medical education community.
In addition, CaRMS responds to hundreds of requests for match-related data each year. Regular research collaboration with universities and other medical and governmental organizations are another way that CaRMS supports and enhances the Canadian medical education system.
