Are you a current year graduate of a Canadian medical school?

No need to register – your medical school has given us your name and you will receive an email when the match opens with information on how to log into CaRMS Online and get started.

If you are a graduate of Memorial University of Newfoundland (MUN), you should use your MUN admissions portal username and password to log into CaRMS Online.

Have you participated in a previous CaRMS match?

If you took part in a previous CaRMS match that was run on CaRMS Online, you should log into your CaRMS Online account using your existing username and password to participate in the current match. If you’ve forgotten your username or password, just click the Forgot your username or password option on the CaRMS Online login page.

If you no longer have access to the email address associated with your existing account, please email operations@carms.ca.

Don’t fall into these two categories?

If you’re not a current year Canadian medical graduate and do not already have a CaRMS Online account, you will need to register for the match.

First iteration

Registration for the first iteration of the 2025 R-1 match opens July 10, 2024 at 12:00 (noon) ET.

Second iteration

Registration for the second iteration of the 2025 R-1 match opens December 4, 2024 at 12:00 (noon) ET.
