Justin Scanlon is the Chief Technology & Innovation Officer at Canadian Resident Matching Service (CaRMS), an independent, not-for-profit, fee-for-service organization that provides a fair, objective, and transparent application and matching service for medical training throughout Canada. Justin leads the team of information technology and business experts who identify, evaluate, and assess the potential of new technologies, evolving business, economic and social trends, and their applicability to the CaRMS ecosystem.
For more than 20 years, Justin has designed, developed, and implemented a variety of solutions that have helped businesses—both for-profit and non-for-profit—succeed. His broad set of experiences stemming from his roles at Visa Canada, Innovapost and Canada Post, MD Financial Management, and the Canadian Pharmacists Association, support CaRMS’ continual drive to enhance our clients’ experiences.
Justin lives in Ottawa with his wife Lucy and their two daughters. Justin is an avid golfer and after having lived in Spain for over 15 years, he is a supporter of FC Barcelona and Spanish soccer.
