Over a 11-year period (2010 – 2020), we asked Canadian medical graduates (CMGs) in the R-1 match a series of questions about career planning and decision making through our annual post-match survey.

This data synthesizes a decade of responses, categorized into four areas:  discipline decisions, electives decisions, program location decisions, and career planning.

Readiness to select first-choice discipline

CMGs reported how prepared they were to choose their first-choice discipline by the CaRMS rank order list deadline.
