A file reviewer is a individual who, at a program’s request, will review applications to a program within CaRMS Online.
Once the file reviewer setup phase opens, programs will be able to to log into their CaRMS Online accounts to create accounts for file reviewers so they are ready for the file review period.
Once added in CaRMS Online, all file reviewers will receive an email from CaRMS with instructions on how to set up an account. However, applicant files will only be available for review once the file review period opens.
A file reviewer can have two different levels of access to applicant files
Full access: File reviewers can view and print applications.
Read-only access: File reviewers can only view applications.
The number of file reviewers a program requires, as well as the program’s review processes, are typically at each program’s discretion.
