Sierra is a third-year medical student at the University of Toronto. She has a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Waterloo and a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from the University of Toronto.

Sierra is passionate about equity and diversity in the medical school and residency application processes. She is a mentor for multiple equity-focused mentorship programs. She also has experience leading numerous initiatives to connect current medical students to various research and shadowing opportunities.

Sierra currently serves as the National Officer of Education – Match (NOE-M) for the CFMS. She hopes to incorporate her background in epidemiology and data analytics with both her roles as NOE-M and Director on the CaRMS Board, to advocate for an accessible, inclusive, and supportive match process for all medical students.
