2024 CaRMS Forum

We’ll be sharing data and insights from the 2024 R-1 Main Residency Match in our CaRMS Forum. We hope you can join our CEO, John Gallinger, and Director, Client Experience & Service Excellence, Ryan Kelly, on May 2, 2024 at 13:00 ET for data and discussions about the 2024 match cycle.

WHAT TO EXPECT

The presentation will be made in English, but you will be able to ask questions in French if that is most comfortable for you. We will have both English and French moderators during the presentation. After the Forum, the data will be made available in both English and French.

Registered attendees will receive an email with attendance information and a link to attend the CaRMS Forum prior to the event. The CaRMS Forum will be presented via Microsoft Teams. If you have the Microsoft Teams application on your device, you will be prompted to open the event via your Microsoft Teams app, or to view from your browser. You can join on your computer, mobile device, or tablet from your favourite browser.

CaRMS Forum FAQ

Access links will be sent to registered attendees. You will be sent an access link leading up to the event and again one-hour before the event. The event will be presented via Microsoft Teams, but you will be given the option to join the event from your Microsoft Teams app or view from your browser. If you would like to download Microsoft Teams prior to the event, you can do so here.

Yes. The CaRMS Forum can be viewed using the Microsoft Teams app on your computer, smartphone, and tablet. You will also have the option to join the event from your favourite web browser. All you’ll need is a good Internet connection.

Yes. We will have question periods throughout the presentation. You can submit your questions at any time during the presentation in the Q&A panel, which can be opened from the top menu in Teams. If you see that someone else has already asked your question, no need to ask again, you can upvote their question so we know there is high interest in the answer.

Yes, we’ll be posting the data package and presentation video on our website after the event, so you can review the data on your own schedule.

Yes. The slides presented will be sent to registered attendees after the CaRMS Forum. The data will also be posted on our website.

The CaRMS Forum will be presented in English. However, we will be providing the full data deck in both English and French after the presentation.
