Program descriptions must be finalized and submitted to the PGME office for review by the “Program descriptions sent to PGME office for approval for particular stream programs in Québec” deadline.

Applicants who would like for their MSPR’s or reference document(s) to be translated using our translation service should make the request through CaRMS Online by today.
Every effort will be made to complete translations submitted by this date prior to the opening of file review, but due to the compressed second iteration timeline we cannot guarantee translations will be in applicant accounts and ready to assign to programs before file review.

Applicants can start selecting the programs to which they wish to apply and assigning requested documents.
Medical School Performance Records (MSPRs) and transcripts should arrive by today to guarantee they will be uploaded into applicant accounts before the opening of file review. Applicants can verify whether documents have been received through the Document Tracking section in CaRMS Online.
It is the applicant’s responsibility to follow university procedures to ensure their medical school transcript and MSPR are sent directly to CaRMS.
Program directors and administrators can add or remove file reviewers for their program(s) and create filters in preparation for file review.
Once file reviewers have been added, they will receive an email from CaRMS with instructions on how to create an account in CaRMS Online.
Applications will be available for review when file review opens.
References must be submitted by this date to give applicants enough time to assign them to programs before the opening of file review.
Referees can submit references after this date and time; however, this may impact the time available for applicants to submit complete applications to programs prior to the opening of file review on March 17 at 12:00 ET.
If applicants would like their references to be translated by the CaRMS-facilitated translation service, they must be submitted before the translation request deadline of February 20 at 17:00 ET.
