Calling all young MedEd leaders!

Are you a medical student or resident who has demonstrated outstanding leadership qualities? Or do you know someone who is?

If you or someone you know is on the fast track to be a leader in medical education, find out more about the Sandra Banner Student Award for Leadership (SBSAL) today.

The SBSAL was established in 2013 by the Canadian Resident Matching Service (CaRMS) Board of Directors in recognition of the nearly three decades of leadership Sandra Banner provided to CaRMS.

Both undergraduate medical students and postgraduate medical trainees are invited to apply. One winner will be selected from each group.

The award is accompanied by funding to support each learner’s proposed leadership training and/or volunteer leadership activities with community impact.
