Proof of citizenship must be submitted by the deadline for submission and assignment of applications and documents, unless otherwise indicated below.

- QUEBEC: Visa students and U.S citizens are eligible only if they are already studying in Quebec with a student permit.
- ONTARIO: Must be accompanied by a Canadian government-issued photo ID.
- ALBERTA: If you are submitting proof of Canadian Permanent Residence, you must also submit the Record of Landing, clearly showing the date of landing in Canada. The Record of Landing is not accepted on its own. It must accompany proof of Canadian Permanent Residence.
- ONTARIO: The provincial authority is currently engaging with its Truth and Reconciliation circle to make a recommendation for implementation in future match cycles.
