Accepted English examinations:
- CELPIP– General: minimum score of 9 in each of the four skills, in the same sitting.
- IELTS Academic: minimum score of 7.0 in each of the four skills, in the same sitting.
- OET Medicine (At a test venue/At home): minimum grade of B in each of the four skills, in the same sitting
For Newfoundland and Labrador, minimum scores may be achieved across a maximum of two combined sittings of the same test

- TOEFL IBT/TOEFL iBT Home Edition – must have a minimum score of 93 with a minimum score of 24 on the speaking section
